Combat climate change through technology

Come visit us at ONS

A new introduction film and an interactive 3D presentation of the innovative technology centre under construction at Mongstad in Norway is part of our exciting exhibition at ONS in Stavanger on August 24-27.

- It is important that the world knows about our Technology Centre which is the world’s largest facility for testing and improving CO2 capture.. Currently under construction at Mongstad on the west coast of Norway, the TCM project will begin demonstrating capture technologies in 2011/2012, says Vegar Stokset, Head of Communications, TCM.

Testing two different types of capture technologies from two different sources of CO2 will allow for a high degree of flexibility in the test programmes. The knowledge gained at TCM will be relevant for both retrofit and new build plants from a variety of flue gas sources including: coal and natural gas power production, as well as other industrial sources, and therefore be very relevant for international deployment,

TCM is a joint venture between the Norwegian state, Statoil, Shell and Sasol, and the main technology providers are Aker Clean Carbon and Alstom.
Welcome to our exhibition in the CCS Park of ONS, booth 1124 in hall M.
