BBC documentary on TCM

An episode of BBC Horizons featuring TCM was airing on BBC World News 20 April and 21 April, and is now available via the link below.

The episode entitled ‘Carbon Capture’ was hosted by prominent journalist Adam Shaw and looked into new technologies that can help reduce CO2 emissions.

We are very excited that such a world-renowned programme is choosing to focus on Carbon Capture, as this helps in our mission to educate people all over the world about CCS and the need for the technologies we are developing to address climate change, as well as the significant contributions coming from Norway in that area.

This series of BBC Horizons follows a journey across the globe that investigates the cutting edge science and technology that is shaking up our lives, our economies, our businesses and the world as we know it. It examines the most important technology that will transform the way we live in the decades ahead, and meets the people who are finding solutions to some of the planet’s current and future biggest challenges.

CO2 Technology Centre Mongstad is the world’s largest facility for testing and improving CO2 capture. Knowledge gained will prepare the ground for CO2 capture initiatives to combat climate change. TCM is a joint venture between the Norwegian state, Statoil, Shell and Sasol
