At the conference, TCM will also be discussing the groundbreaking findings of its first demonstration year. The achievements are crucial to de-risking CCS investments and prepare the ground for widespread CCS deployment to combat climate change. TCM will also be discussing how from 2014, the next round of testing of other absorption solvents will begin at TCM’s amine plant, which is capable of processing up to 80,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.

This annual conference is a key event in the CCS calendar, attracting internationally acclaimed experts from all corners of the CCS world, and covering government policy, regulation, legal issues, technology advancement, RDD&D and public acceptance. Over the past three years, the number of event participants averaged around 730 from more than two dozen countries – and last year’s participants represented more than 250 private companies and 150 academic institutions.
